Working in integration with the vehicle tracking system and fleet management system, the Driver Identification Unit facilitates the tracking of data generated by the vehicle tracking system, such as which vehicle was used by which driver, when and for how long, with the ID cards given to the drivers.
How does it work?
It is activated by reading the magnetic cards defined specifically for the drivers to the RFID module placed inside the vehicle. After the driver card is read, all the processed data is defined to that driver and transferred to the Navigation system. Optionally, there are 2 options as 125 kHz and 13.56 mHz.
